Four Basic Needs.
Food:Their diet is mostly small fish, crustacean, and squid.
Shelter: Bottlenose dolphins can live in a number of oceans and bodys of water.
Oxygen: The trees because dolphins can not breathe under water, they do not have gills unlike fish.
Water: They get their liquids/juices from the food they eat.

Scientific Classification

Kingdom: Animalia, its not a plant, its an animal.
Phylum:Chordata, hollow dorsal nerve cord, notocord,pharyngead slits, endotstyle,post-anal tail.
Class: Mammalia, mammalia or mammal is another word for animal.
Order: Cetacea, the marine mammals commonly known as whales,dolphins, and porpoises. Cetus is Latin and is used is biological names to mean "whale"; its original meaning, "large sea animal" , was more general.
Family: Delphinidae, delphinidae is the largest group of toothed whales with 66 genera in 6 families. The largest living member of the superfamily is the killer whale, which can reach 6 tonnes, while the smallest, Commerson's Dolphin, is also the smallest living cetacean.
Genus: Tursiops, tursiops is a genus of Delphinidae.



Bottlenose Dolphins have a bad sense of smell.They can swim up to 18 miles or 30 kilometres an hour.
Bottlenose dolphins communicate thropulsed sounds, whistles, and body language.




Bottlenose dolphins talk through burst pulsed sounds, whistles, and body language.Examples of body language include leaping out of the water, snapping jaws, slapping the tail on the surface of the water and head butting.Sounds and movements help keep track of other dolphins in the group, and tell the other dolphins about danger and nearby food.Lacking vocal cords, they produce sounds using six air bags near their blow hole. Each animal has a signiture whistle.
